Project funded by multiple site budgets

We have a requirement to report budget on site level as the site GMs are the budget owners for their respective sites.

For IT this is 1 project as the infrastructure is shared. However if this is tracked as a single project, we are not able to report on site budget.

The alternative is to create a project per site (sub projects won't work as you can't assign a budget to a sub project) however that means doubling up on RIDAC and status reports, splitting resource/cost plans/expense lines, etc. In short; more project admin.

Have I missed something? Any suggestions welcome thanks

I would suggest you to take a look at investment funding capability of SPM.

Thanks Namita! While the investment funding capability looks interesting, I can't see how project budget can be split between different entities/business units?

I'd welcome a call to discuss; perhaps a Teams screen share?
