Project Managers - what are some reports you have set up on your dashboard that you find especially helpful? Feel free to share screenshots!

Keep in mind I have a limited scope of using performance analytics, but as it pertains to my goals the differences are.

1. Visually appealing graphs and ability to show a nice clear number for things such as "% increase in average ticket age" as one big bold number.

2.

With the standard reporting, I can ask the data "How many tickets were opened up on Dec 1st, Dec 2nd, etc" and see that my input is rising.

With this "historical" data, it allows me to ask "How many tickets were actually in open status at the same time on Dec 1st, Dec 2nd, etc". I can see my concurrent workload as a whole is rising.

I was wondering if you were using Performance Analytics since the Dashboard Wiki opens with the statement "Dashboards form the entry point for Performance Analytics users." and PA basic is just for Incidents, Premium expands but I didn't see it expand to Project.... So you must be using the term Dashboard not to refer to specific functionality but to refer to how you have certain role's homepages set up using existing reporting functionality??

So are you pulling reports available on the homepage, or creating reports & clicking the 'add to homepage' button, and setting up certain homepage content for certain roles?

Ah yes, loose with my terminology - Dashboard is Performance Analytics. Also correct, I am making a homepage with a bunch of reports and permissions, then also creating a menu item in the appropriate spots in the navigation menu on the left hand side that simply open that homepage - branding it to the users as a dashboard module to my users.

While free Perf Analytics is Incident based OOB, I haven't tried yet but it looks easy enough to change it to project table. The limit I believe is how many tables you can report from, right now all 3 report jobs are focused on Incident (Open, Created, Resolved). You could probably repoint them at Project/Project Task but then loose incident analytics if you want to sample it free. Not tested this myself.

Is anyone using - for PROJECTS (not Portfolios) - gauges on project health color, project schedule health color, risk health color, etc.? How do you add these to a given project, is it manual or automatic to update the health color, then how do you create a super duper awesome homepage report with these gauges??
