SAFe to EAP migration - What happened to the Triage board?

Hi,

We are preparing to migrate our teams from the SAFe application to Enterprise Agile Planning (EAP) due to the deprecation of SAFe. When I go to a team within the Strategic Planning Workspace, I don't see a Triage Board from the Backlog view like we do currently in SAFe. How do we bring REQs and INCs into the backlog in EAP?

Thank you.

Hi @Carissa Kreinbr ,

Triage board is not available in EAP.

I can confirm it is in the backlog and we are working to make this functionality better and provide ease of use to our users... So you will get triage board soon in the product.

if this answers the query, please mark the response as correct answer.

Happy SPM Journey!!

Hi.

Are there any updates on when the Triage board will be available in Enterprise Agile planning? That is an essential feature when you want to use ServiceNow end-to-end in your IT processes. Without it, you might as well use more dedicated Agile tools such as Azure DevOps and not use ServiceNow for SAFe at all.

Hi,

We're getting closer with the unified backlog and triage board.  The plan is to include it within the Collaborative Work Management (CWM) tool which will connect to EAP.  We're targeting that in the second half of 2025 - not sure which release (and as a word of caution things can always change if we have any surprises but that's the current target).

Thanks!

Hi Scott - are there any updates on this?

Hi,

We just released an update to CWM that has a feature called 'Connected Work' (and Agile planning capabilities).  This is similar to the legacy triage board, although implemented in a way that users don't need to convert work items to stories.  Within CWM, users can view and plan different types of tasks together.  I should mention that we need to do a few things to better connect CWM and EAP, but this is being worked on now (targeting later this year).

Thanks,

Scott
