SPM - DEMAND FORM

We currently use ITSM and are exploring the SPM module to manage our demands, resources, benefits etc. Our development team have offered to build a form in ITSM to capture the demand detail and populate the demand record in SPM.  This would allow a single front door entry point for our Service Area.

My question is - is this doable and the correct approach or is there another option we haven't considered?

Hello,

Just for awareness, you don't have to use that out of box one. You can create a record producer of your choosing as an entry point into the demand record. In fact, I would recommend using a user criteria on the baseline record producer to prevent it from being used in Employee Center.

Hello @Julie Graham there is already Demand submission form available from the portal that will allow users to enter the demand records.

Please see this link for more details.

Create a demand

  1. Navigate to All > Demand > Demands > Create New.
Alternatively, you can create a demand from Self-Service > Demands > Create New.
