I wanted to share a useful tip I read about for managing ServiceNow's stored selections for fields like "Assigned to" and "Configuration item." Over time, this can grow but, Here's a simple solution, I wanted to share, to reset them:

📌 To reset Recent Selections, follow these steps:

  1. In the ALL menu, type sys_ui_recent_selection.list.
  2. This will display the recent selections for the "Caller" or "Assigned to" field on the incident table for the System Administrator user. Select as many entries as you wish and click the Delete button. (While this example is specific to the incident table, I found that you can apply this solution to any table and field).
  3. After doing this, you won't see any recent selection options when you add a new user to the "Caller" field.
