Yes, you can make a theme available to a list of users or groups in ServiceNow's Theme Builder by publishing it.

Here are some things you can do with Theme Builder: Create or customize a theme, Manage or edit a theme, and Publish a theme.

Hello,

Themes are generally applied for  everybody. Particular user can make a variant of it(or customize it as per ones need). For more details regarding this refer to the article given below:Theme Customization

If this helps you mark my solution as "Helpful".

Hi @shalikasurbhi1
My self Muhammad Talha, yes you make a theme that availableot list of users and groups that we built from the theme builder.  here the following steps

Steps to Make a Theme Available to Specific Users or Groups:

  1. Create or Edit the Theme:

    • Go to Theme Builder and create or select the theme you want to manage.
  2. Define User Access:

    • You can control access to the theme using User Criteria. This allows you to specify which users or groups can see the theme.
  3. Set User Criteria:

    • Navigate to User Criteria (found under System Security > User Criteria).
    • Create a new user criteria record, and specify the conditions (e.g., specific user groups, roles, or individual users).
  4. Link User Criteria to Theme:

    • In the Theme Builder, locate the section for User Criteria.
    • Associate your created user criteria with the theme. This ensures that only the specified users or groups can access and use the theme.
  5. Testing:

    • Test the theme visibility by logging in as a user who meets the criteria and one who does not, to confirm that access works as intended.

Important Considerations:

  • Default Theme: Ensure that a default theme is set for users who do not meet the criteria.
  • Caching: Remember that theme changes may be cached. Clear your cache or test in an incognito window if you do not see changes immediately.

By following these steps, you can effectively manage theme availability for specific users or groups in ServiceNow. Let me know if you need further assistance!

@M Talha

I can not find the User Criteria section in Theme Builder.
Could you please be more specific or show a screenshot of where you can find the User Criteria section in Theme Builder?
