As an SN trainer, I can say that the CSA is the first and fundamental exam. It's hard to determine the level of difficulty, but I would say it depends on how well you understand the basics. For example, follow the eBook, read it 3-4 times, study the labs at least 3-4 times, and then you’ll be all set for the exam.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

You've taken the coursework for CSA correct?
The VERY BEST THING you can do is simply practice the tools you have been taught.
Our ecosystem is absolutely bursting at the seams with CSA resources who have little practical experience on the platform. They achieve their cert by reading material and studying those wretched exam prep sites.
Net effect is a debasement of the value of CSA, and worse poor customer outcomes.
Take the tools you have learned and build build build BUILD on your PDI. What should you build? Listen to this episode of CJ & The Duke: https://share.transistor.fm/s/6dbaf0a4
Or look at a couple examples my past students have done.
Building an App for Loan Processing
Car Dealership Service & Sales
Don't undermine our customers and ecosystem by looking at the poop flood of links to exam prep sites you're sure to get. The ONLY thing valuable in our ecosystem is ACTUALLY KNOWING HOW the tool works.
