Database View not shown as a data source in Platform Analytics

Hello, I am having a hard time understanding why, even in Xanadu, the database view cannot be selected as a data source for a simple list. I have PDI which recognizes a test database view as a data source but in the other instance I have it does not recognize it.
Here is the basic info.
PDI - glide-xanadu-07-02-2024__patch3-hotfix1-11-13-2024
Other - glide-xanadu-07-02-2024__patch3-10-23-2024
database view contains GRC tables --> controls, citations, and policies.
The patch between them doesn't seem to suggest any difference in platform analytics features.
It seems like people in this thread look like they can.
