Edit button not visible on some Knowledge articles.

On some Knowledge articles, Edit button is not visible but only Subscribe button. It is not dependent on Valid to field as for some Valid to dates in the past also is showing the Edit button. Not dependent on category as well. I tried checking in UI actions but cannot see an Edit button in kb_knowledge table.

Hi @sbeginner ,
Double check that the user has the "knowledge" role. It is NOT included automatically with the ITIL role.
The edit access was getting restricted from the ownership group of the knowledge article.
In order to avail the edit access , user will need to be a member of the ownership group of the article.
Else, Please run a script and move the earlier versions to the OUTDATED state from RETIRED state to fix the issue.

Hi @Community Alums, Thanks for your reply. The user has knowledge role and I checked the ownership group and it is empty for the mentioned article. Also, the status is 'Review' and nor retired. How can I go about this.
