Hide a Child Topic from Mega Menu

Hello, 

 

We have a Topic called 'Technology' within it there is a Child Topic called 'Change & Adoption' under which we would like to create several pages for each of our applications as Child Topics of the 'Change & Adoption' page.

 

i.e. Technology > Change & Adoption > TEST

 

However, we do not want the child topic to be visible in the mega menu - is that possible? Highlighted below is what we would want to hide.

Some other posts have suggested removing the connected content but we still want the child topic (TEST) to be visible from the parent topic (Change & Adoption).

Any help would be appreciated.

NO it is not possible , as it is child and in backend it has mapping.

@Michael Yes! You are able to. 

  1. All Menu -> Advanced Portal Navigation
  2. 2. Click the (i) icon next to the portal you need to configure this on and open the record. 
    1. Should give you a preview pop-up view, then click "Open Record" in top right.
  3. Go to the menu title (In your case "Technology") then open the parent ("Change & Adoption").
  4. You will then make "TEST" inactive.
  5. Click "Sync hierarchy."
