How to use import sets in remote instance spokes

crowba

Hello.
I am trying to use 'Remote Instance Spoke' to allow two ServiceNow instances to communicate with each other.
As a way to do this, I want to create or update remote records using import sets.
To do this, I need to create a transformation map.
Any helpful information, including an overview, would be appreciated.

Hi @crowba ,

For use the Remote Instances just follow the steps in the instance you want to import the update sets:

- Go to Team Development -> Remote Instances

Click on New

- Fill the information with the URL of your target instance, a user with acces to create update sets

- Click on Test Connection

Click on Retrieve Completed Update Sets

- Then you will be able to select any update set with a state of complete in your target instance

- If you want to use a Update set just click and commit to make available in your instance.

Hope that help you
