Hello everyone,
I have created a Custom table (Related CI Components) and added that into the related lists of change request.
But I see New button over there to select the records. User has to navigate to multiple times by clicking the New button to add multiple CIs.
So, I want to use the same functionality to select multiple CIs as it happening for Affected CIs section.
So, please help me how to achieve this.
Below screen shots for your reference:
1. For my custom tab section:
2. For Affected CIs section:

Hi @Sravanthi10 ,
Could you please brief on the requirement a little bit.
I understand you want to simulate the affected CI but how different is the Related CI components tab?
Thanks,
Mahathi

Hello Mahathi,
This is a business requirement.
Actually in the Affected CIs, based on the selected class in the configuration item, the list will be shown for selection.
But here, based on the configuration Item, Environment field will be auto populated and based on that field, we are showing up the values which matches the environment in a reference field. But the users has to select and then save it and then again they has to click on New button and select again right?
Hence, I want to use the same functionality where Affected CIs tab is showing to select multiple CIs at once.

Sravanthi

Hi @Sravanthi10 ,
Ok i get it. If you are looking to bring the edit button here in the related list , Right click on one of the columns >> Configure list control >> Uncheck Omit edit button.
Also refer to the below link with video for easy navigation:
