Olá @osassoservi,

i agree with all what have been said by the other people, just one thing to add up is the Welcome to ServiceNow training, it was very great source of information.

When you will get some confidence, you can request your own Personal Developer Instance (PDI) where you can try stuff without a worry of breaking anything. it’s for free!!
https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do

at nowlearning (ServiceNow university), you can take micro-certification on several topics, you have 60 min for 10-15 questions and you can use internet, it is motivation to go through the official documentation. And some micros are passed after a lab is completed.

🍀 good luck!

Hi @osassoservi

Greetings and welcome to the ServiceNow Community!

I’m a ServiceNow trainer and happy to guide you. Since you’re new to ServiceNow, there are many routes you can follow, but to get started, the best first step is the Admin path.

  • CSA / Admin: Start with the ServiceNow Journey for Admin. This course gives you a basic understanding of the platform, its terminology, and core modules.

After that, you can decide if you want to go into development, Business Analysis, Product Ownership, or Project Management. There are different learning paths for each available on Now Learning.

I strongly recommend starting with the Developer journey since it often makes it easier to land your first job. Alternatively, you can start as a Business Analyst if that suits you better.

Alongside this, to increase your portfolio, consider taking training on different ServiceNow products such as ITSM, GRC, HRSD, CSM, etc., as they are closely related.

The CSA certification provides a solid foundation of the platform and its core concepts. Once you have hands-on experience through CSA, you can choose your next path.

Employers value professionals who have experience across multiple modules, so expanding your knowledge by adding more products to your portfolio is important.

Currently, the training is free, which is a fantastic opportunity. However, the real challenge is gaining hands-on experience. To overcome this, engage with the ServiceNow community daily — spend at least 1-2 hours reading questions, sharing answers, and learning from others. This will improve your skills and build your confidence.

Also, if you want to become a developer, mastering scripting is essential. There are many courses and exercises on developer.servicenow.com to help you practice and improve your scripting skills, which will strengthen your portfolio.

Start with the CSA certification, then choose your next step based on your interests—be it development, Business Analysis, Change Management, or Project Management. A strong foundation gives you the flexibility to pursue any domain you prefer.

If you need any help or guidance, feel free to ask!

Hi @osassoservi ,

  1. Start with official training and labs, and go through them more and Practice and implement in PDI .
  2. Take mock exams to boost confidence and learn from your mistakes.
  3. Practice hands-on, learn basic scripting, and understand how Servicnow tool and databases work.
  4. Join the ServiceNow community to ask questions and share knowledge.
