Hello ServiceNow Community,
I'm currently designing a ServiceNow Dashboard for an organizational project aimed at supporting Executives, Support Desk Workers, and Managers during Go-Lives. This dashboard will assist in incident and request management, as well as stabilization efforts. Given the project's multi-wave nature and the diverse reporting locations across ministries, I'm seeking guidance on how to enhance organization and navigation within the dashboard.
Specifically, I'm considering incorporating tabs within tabs to streamline navigation and improve usability. Below is an example of the structure I'm contemplating:
Dashboard:
- Overall Overview
- Ministry 1:
- Executive View
- Support Desk Dashboard
- Manager's Dashboard
- Ministry 2:
- Executive View
- Support Desk Dashboard
- Manager's Dashboard ...
- Ministry X:
- Executive View
- Support Desk Dashboard
- Manager's Dashboard
I would appreciate insights on the following:
- Feasibility of implementing tabs within tabs functionality in ServiceNow dashboards.
- Best practices or alternative methods for organizing content and ensuring ease of navigation for end-users across various ministries and user roles.
Your expertise and recommendations on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Additional information:
I know I could use filters, but my client wants to make sure the dashboard is site specific.
Thank you for your assistance!
Best regards,
Joshua Melendez

Hi @Jmelendez ,
it’s not possible to have tabs within tabs. Your pinky option is utilize dashboards and tabs or analytics workspace or tabs.

I was discussing this with my mentor and we agreed workspaces are a great route to go as well. It's great to get another opinion! Thank you!
