Hello ServiceNow Community,
I recently earned my Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification (April 23, 2025)!
I'm passionate about building a career in the ServiceNow ecosystem and am currently seeking entry-level opportunities or internships where I can contribute, learn, and grow.
A little about me:
Certified in ServiceNow System Administration
Familiar with workflows, catalog items, scripting basics, and platform customizations
Eager to work in a collaborative environment and learn from experienced professionals
I would love to hear about:
Any companies hiring ServiceNow freshers
Suggestions on where to apply (career portals, companies, etc.)
Tips to make my profile stronger or any projects I should complete to stand out
Any advice, leads, or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @HirensaiP ,
That’s a fantastic milestone—congratulations on earning your ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification! You're already ahead by taking initiative and reaching out to the community. Here’s how you can strengthen your path and increase your chances of landing an opportunity in the ServiceNow ecosystem:
f you enjoy building apps, workflows, and customizing the platform, the CAD (Certified Application Developer) certification is a natural next step. It helps you learn deeper skills like:
Script includes, GlideAjax
Custom application development
App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, and Service Catalog scripting
CAD is highly valued, especially by companies looking for developers rather than just admins. It’s a good way to move from “just configuration” to “platform development.”
once CSA is done, learning a functional module is a great move, especially based on your career interest:
CSM (Customer Service Management) – Good if you like customer-facing workflows, portals, and working on cases/tickets for external users.
GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) – Great for regulated industries (finance, health) and companies with compliance needs. It involves risk assessments, policy management, audits, etc.
ITAM (IT Asset Management) – In demand for companies tracking hardware, software, and licenses. Involves integrations and automation.

Hi @HirensaiP
As a ServiceNow trainer, I’m happy to share my input on this. I agree and appreciate that you’ve completed the CSA exam and a few other modules, but the reality is different. The market is looking for more and more modules in your CV, which means you need to learn more products and add them to your portfolio. For example, focus on ITSM, GRC, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.
Currently, the training is free, which is a great benefit, but the real challenge is getting hands-on experience. For that, the community is the best place to start. Spend time engaging with the community—at least 1 -2 hours daily—seeing what members are asking and responding to them. Soon, your skills will be upgraded, and you’ll gain confidence.
Also, get a good grip on scripting because, for a developer, scripting is essential. Take courses, and there are many exercises available on developer.servicenow.com to practice scripting. That’s the best way to build your portfolio, mate.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.
Regards
