In the February ServiceNow Store release, version 1.1 of Service Bridge for Providers and Service Bridge for Consumers was released. In this release there were several highlights:

  • New Consumer Registration field "Encryption Type" - Service Bridge (AES 256) - Service Bridge (AES 256) is now the default encryption method for Consumer Registrations instead of KMF. This addresses issues with encryption exchange that some customers were encountering when registering consumer instances using KMF encryption. Note that in order to use the Service Bridge (AES 256) encryption type, both the Provider and Consumer instances need to be on Service Bridge version 1.1.
