Customers creating cases using the Catalog use the CSM case type in a TPSM instance

Hi,
In a TPSM implementation, when we expose the catalog to the Customer portal (CSM) and the customer raises cases using the catalog, they are getting created with the CSM case type and not the TPSM case type.
Ideally, we would want it to use the TPSM case type
Is there any documentation on how the process is intended to work? Is there a configuration method to change default behaviour to create a TPSM record instead of Case when creating a request?
