So I worked through the trainings and micro-certs listed on this page in order to get my "Application Developer Core Skills Micro-Certification Suite." This included the following four micro-certs:
- Flow Designer
- Integration Hub
- UI Builder
- Automated Test Framework
Then I noticed that underneath the graphic for the suite certification, it reads, "Suite Certification - Application Developer Core Skills Micro," which includes all the same words, but in a different order. So I clicked on that graphic, and it took me to this other page, which says I need the following five micro-certs to get the suite certification:
- Citizen Developer Application Creator
- Application Developer Process Creator
- Application Developer User Interface Creator
- Flow Designer
- Virtual Agent
(Only the Flow Designer micro-cert is common between the two lists.)
My question is, both pages tell me that I have completed the suite certification, but only one of the two can be correct, correct?
And I just now noticed that the list of five on the second page doesn't even match the tiles below it. According to the tiles, what is needed for the "Suite Certification - Application Developer Core Skills Micro" are the following:
- UI Builder
- Flow Designer
- Application Developer Process Creator
- Introduction to App Engine Studio
- Virtual Agent
So my question evolves to, only one of the three lists of micro-certs can be correct, correct? I suppose if I want to cover all my bases with regard to the suite certification, I should go pick up Citizen Developer Application Creator, Application Developer Process Creator, Application Developer User Interface Creator, Introduction to App Engine Studio, and Virtual Agent. Just to make sure I have all nine micro-certs listed across these three different paths.
I guess... Now Learning needs another editor? I'm sure these pages and lists are all pulled from a database and built on the fly, so I suppose there are (accidentally) two entries for the "Suite Certification - Application Developer Core Skills Micro" with different names and descriptions (but why list the micro-certs in the descriptions when they'll be shown in tile form right beneath?), and then different paths to completion of the same single suite certification. The editors do a fine job, in general (the occasional typo in learning materials can be ignored, but is there a way to report them?), the mess above just caught my eye.

I would think a cert made up of several micro-certs would be at least a milli-cert. That's the problem with naming stuff "mainline" or "pro suite" or whatever instead of using SI prefixes throughout. The mainline certs should just be certs, and the "pro" stuff could be "kilo-certs," and the CTA or CMA could be "mega-certs."
