Hello all
I was trying to configure the Global search on a custom table which is working perfectly in the old UI (Tokyo)
but I'm unable to search in Next Experience UI(Tokyo).
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you

Have you added a search source for Next Experience UI? https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/tokyo-platform-administration/page/administer/search-administrati...

Hi,
Not sure if you are still having this issue, but we just ran into the same thing. It actually led us to your post which then made me think maybe this is a widespread issue. Doing some further googling I found this KB from SN support: https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB1209225
Sure enough, this was our issue. I hope it is the cause of yours, as well. Is your new Search Source set to active=false? Ours definitely was and was causing it to not work. We had to disable the Read only option on the Active Dictionary field for Search Source table and then manually set the Search Source we created to Active=True. Once we did that everything started working.
Hopefully this helps
