Hi @vravish1,
Q: Why is there a delay between the General Availability of a family release (e.g. Washington D.C.) and the availability of the related versions of the exams?
A: It takes ServiceNow time to prepare the exams.
Q: If I write exam in June end or July 1st week it will be Vancouver, Its sad that I have to wait 2 months to write Washington? (or) I have to feel guilty that I paid and wrote OLDER version CSA exam (Vancouver) and have to update again.
A: Please don't feel guilty, sad, upset or angry about any of this! The two versions of the exam will be almost identical. The questions change very little from one release to the next. The important thing is to study the documentation you have and understand the key concepts about the platform. The important thing is that you pass. So study hard and book the exam when you feel ready. Don't stress about what version happens to be current at the time. A CSA is a CSA.
Best of luck!

No, CSAs don't have the family release version name (Vancouver, Washington, etc.) attached to them ... and that's because ... there are two types of ServiceNow certifications:
- Current certs (good)
- Expired certs (bad)
To keep your certs current you need to sit delta exams once a year to prove you're keeping up with changes to the platform.
So, to put it another way, if your cert is valid, it's an indication that you're skilled in the latest versions of the platform, regardless of when you first passed your CSA.

Hi @Aishwarya_rao - I note you received your exam voucher in March 2023. Please be aware vouchers expire after 12 months. Be sure you sit your exam before that happens, otherwise you will have to re-take the course and pay for another voucher.
