hi everyone,
i took the CSA exam(Washington version) on 4th Jan 2025. as i failed on that exam i want to retake it.
but the exams on the Washington version last date is over (7th jan 2025).
the next version exams will be on the xanadu and the registration starts to retake is from 15th jan 2025.
earlier i learned and prepared from the e-book of now learning .
since the exam will be on the xanadu, now will they update the e-book??? so then i can learn and schedule my retake?
or there won't be any much changes i can directly go for the retake without any prep (as i already read for the 1st exam that is Washington version).
also will the questions on xanadu version will be different from the Washington version?
could anyone please help me out.
Thanks in advance.

Hi @pallavidanv
Practically and from experience, there isn't much difference in the questions when it comes to CSA. You may see 5-8 questions changing with each new release, so you can schedule your retake, but make sure you're well-prepared this time. For the updated book or course materials, it is hoped they will be updated on Xanadu, but I'm not sure. You can log a Now Learning case for this.

Hi @pallavidanv
You won't get access to the new Xanadu eBook. It will only be available to students who register for the course after the updated version is published.
But as @Dr Atul G- LNG has wisely stated: the exam won't change much, so just focus on the basics you have been taught, especially any areas where you didn't do so well the first time, and you will be fine.

Hi @pallavidanv ,
Please note that it will be a minimal update to CSA content if any, hence I would not worry about retake of the exam in the Xanadu version.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.

Hi @pallavidanv
I know a couple of folks who took their exams on Xanadu release and there isn't much difference except few questions.
If my response was helpful, please mark my answer helpful 👍 and accept as a solution ✅ so it can be valuable to others.
