Retake Policy Specifics by Audience  

ServiceNow's Retake Policy  allows candidates to attempt an exam four times before additional training is required. Our Retake Policy is dependent on:

• A test taker’s employer and that employer’s relationship with ServiceNow.
  This policy differs for Credential Candidates, Partners, Total and Advanced Impact Customers, and ServiceNow employees.
• The number of exam attempts a test taker has completed.

Use the tables below to better understand our Retake Policy for each Credential type and audience.

Mainline Delta, Micro- Certification, Delivery Accreditations.

I dont think you will get fee back. You can submit result in your company for riembursement as per company policies.

No, mate. Only the first attempt was covered by the voucher. For any additional attempts, I need to pay out of pocket. It's the company’s policy whether they reimburse the retake or not—in my case, it was not reimbursed.

Retake Process 

If you need to retake a mainline exam, you need to pay 100 USD and book for the exam. 

There is a 3-day waiting period after the first attempt and a 14-day waiting period after the second and third attempts to ensure you have the proper time to prepare.  Should you need a fourth attempt, you will need to retake the training course to help you prepare, and then you will need to purchase another voucher.

Every Company has different policies when it comes to retake attempts. In general, retake attempts are out of pocket costs as Company expects you to fully prepare and clear in your first attempt. If unfortunately, you need to attempt retakes, then it most likely be out of pocket. But check with your Company's certification team as claim process may be differ between Organizations.

Recommend you to prepare till you are confident to give the exam and then book it, rather than take it in a hurry. This way you can clear in your first attempt and need not worry about retake process.
