ITSM Implementation Simulator: Create a catalog item template (Step b)

Hello Team,

I'm performing the ITSM simulator task: Create a catalog item template.

I could create a service catalog successfully but on this task, I keep getting an error to available the template for All ACME Corporation employees:

I already referred to the following page but I could not find any hint to solve the task:
ITSM Implementation Simulator (Paris) - Task 26 - Create a catalog item 

Could you tell which options should I select to solve the task? 

Since there is no "ACME corporation employees" options I keep failing after several attempts to configure many combinations. 

 

I did not set anything on;

- Details

- Questions

- Settings

-Access

But the following parts are configured:

Location

Override

I assume these configurations did not generate any error this time but please correct me if my assumption is wrong.

It is a lab instance issue only, as you followed the process correctly. Sorry, there is another way. You can skip this task and move to the next one. As I said, if you complete 80% of the lab, you can submit the lab. The intention is to get familiar if it does not work due to lab issues, don't stress or spend too much time.

Thank you for your confirmation. 

I moved to the next task but still, my lab keeps displaying some errors even after fixing the pointed parts. 

As you commented earlier, I would like to submit the task and move on.

Hi @HisakoK 

 

It look like the data issue in the lab instance, I checked the same in PDI and and we have this user criteria. Now 3 options

- Create a new UC with same name and take the reference from PDI

2. Go to user criteria and check is this UC is already there and active = True

3 As you already reached 80% lab you can submit as well.

Since it is a catalog item template, you should have having task for creating criteria for ACME corporation employees, create that first and add it, then the task will be completed.

Thank you for your prompt response and providing me the solutions.

There was no record of All ACME Corporation employees

Thus, I created the record and selected that required option but still, the screen displays the error message:

Now, I assume that the "override" section generates the issue since there is no difference even though I remove All ACME Corporation employees from "Access"

Is there any options that I must select to complete the task?

Or simply, my instance does not work properly?

I even failed to open the file provided by Now Support...
