Knowledge base access if no user criteria is specified.

Hello everyone, I have a quick question about Knowledge base access if no user criteria is specified. I am planning to take CSA exam soon and there is one question which I dont know what correct answer should be in upcoming exam (of course if there will be such one).

I know that in the past, when no user criteria was specified for KB, the access was granted to all active users. But at the current version, its the opposite (bcs of system property: glide.knowman.block_access_with_no_user_criteria -> which is denying access by default). What should I answer in CSA exam ? Because in Xanadu version of course eBook, there is stated that everyone can access but its not kinda true for new version of instances..

Thank you.

Hi @DominikV

it will strongly depend on how the question is formulated...

But as per mentioned property:

I'd say that OOTB no user criteria doesn't automatically allow users to access KB... this is current status so what was it before is no longer relevant. You will be doing the exam for Yokohama version, right?

Hello, yea I guess I will be doing CSA on Yokohama version. I hope I will not encounter this type of question in my exam - and if I do, I will select answer based on current version (denied by default). Thank you

Best of luck to the exam! 💪🚀
