Link in the notification is not redirecting to the corresponding incident

Hi,

I am facing issue with the link in the notification which ideally has to redirect to the corresponding incident if the user is already logged in.

In our case when I click on the link it is taking to the login page. after giving credentials it's redirecting to the logout page.(this is the case with Internet Explorer)

In Google Chrome we are able to login successfully but it's not taking to the incident which is the ideal case.

 

The URL which we are using in the notification is given below:

https://level6-ifed.Clientname.com:9123/idp/startSSO.ping?PartnerSpId=https://Clientname.service-now...

Now the link is taking to   the corresponding incident only if I copy paste the Url in the browser.


When I directly click on the link it's redirecting to logout page
