This course covers the major applications of the ServiceNow IT Service Management product which allows you to deliver scalable services that increase productivity and create amazing experiences wherever your employees work.
This 11.5-hour training is broken into seven modules covering Request Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management. The course includes scenarios following a fictitious company called The Country Store who has purchased ServiceNow and is using the applications to help streamline and manage their business. Modules include animated videos, demonstrations, graphics, step by step guidance, and self-paced labs where learners act as implementers and test the configuration of ServiceNow for The Country Store.
Learning objectives for the course include defining ITSM and its purpose, identifying the applications within ServiceNow ITSM and their purpose, and identifying the states for an incident, problem, and change. In the Request Management application module, you will learn how to submit, approve, and fulfill a request through the service catalog. The Incident Management module will teach you how to create, investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents. Within the Problem management application module, you’ll learn how to detect, log, diagnose, and resolve a problem. Finally, in the Change Management module you’ll learn how to record, review, assess, evaluate, authorize, plan, and implement a change.
The on-demand course is being offered as a FREE option for customers. This course reflects the Paris release of the Now Platform®. It is highly recommended that you complete ServiceNow Fundamentals to learn basic navigation, features, and benefits of the Now Platform before attempting this course.
