Hello everyone,
I’m currently facing an issue with Personal Developer Instances (PDI) on Now Learning.
I no longer have the button to request or renew a PDI in order to continue my courses.
It appears that I have used all available renewal/extension options, and this issue is the same across all my courses. I’m unable to create an instance, even though an active PDI is required to complete the labs.
Could you please advise what the recommended procedure is in this situation?
Thank you very much in advance for your support.
Best regards,

Hi @fatiha12,
This usually happens when you’ve reached the limit for PDI renewals or extensions in Now Learning. Once that limit is exhausted, the option to request or extend an instance disappears, so nothing is wrong from your side.
In this case, the best option is to either wait for a few days until the system allows you to request a new PDI again or raise a support request through Now Learning explaining your situation. They can sometimes reset your limit or help you get a new instance.
As a temporary workaround, some people also create a new developer account to get a fresh PDI, but it’s better to go through support if possible.
Hope this helps! 😊

Hello @fatiha12
I agree with Atul on this. I would recommend logging a support case through the Now Learning Help Center.
They should be able to assist you with extending or providing a new lab instance so you can continue your training.
Thank You

Hi @fatiha12 ,
Only way here to take support for Servicenow Now learning as Atul said as you have crossed the limit as per policy to use the lab instance provided in the course.

Hi @SohamTipnis
I think you answer is not correct the reason is first you are mixing PDI and lab instance, both are two different things. Pdi is individual where lab instance linked with training course only.
2nd point, when you said wait for few days, that is not case true, I had same issue and only now learning team able to help not waiting for days.
3rd create new developer account again that is not linked to learning course so task validation will not work , andby this you will not able to complete training.you confused other readers as well.
Only solution is reach out to now learning team for reset the limits or give you new instance for learning course.
This is not correct answer except raised a now learning case which already answered by me too yesterday.

Hello @Dr Atul G- LNG, nice talking to you. Thanks for observing my answer.
I think you have got some confusion about my answer because I clearly made the lab instance and PDI different. The issue with the lab instance is different, and the PDI I suggested was for the temporary solution, so I don't think I was wrong or that that was my intention. Anyway, once again, thanks for undertaking my response. Next time I will be clearer than this.😊
