Hi All,
Im a starter.i have started using service now.
i wanna know,how these rate cards are used?
one of my colleague is working on Licensing management.
she provides the total cost for a tool,which is a general multiplication
base cost * no of units
how can these be automated in snow
without doing it in excel
can anyone help me

Then you need to set the base cost on the rate card to $100. The rate card is not a per user cost. It can be distributed to the users. That is why I recommended a separate rate card for each user in my initial post.

I agree, that would be the easier way to think about it. Unfortunately, that is not the way it works today. Unless there is something I am not aware of in the system, that should probably be put in as an enhancement, as that would make some other scenarios along with this one easier to manage. I will pass this along.

I'm not aware of any permissions that would restric access on this. It certainly does not look like it is read only in your screenshot, which would indicate to me that it is permissions related. Perhaps the options were removed in your environment for some reason?
Notice that the options allow you to distribute the cost per user. What you really want here is to apply the cost per user.
