Report Edit Access Lost After Platform Analytics Migration & Zurich upgrade

Hello All,

 

We've recently migrated our reports and dashboards to Platform Analytics and subsequently upgraded to the Zurich release in Dev and QA. Prior to upgrade we have moved the Prod reports data to Dev and QA. Since these changes, users are reporting that they can no longer edit or update their reports, despite previously having the necessary edit permissions.

This issue is impacting user testing and our ability to manage reports effectively. We need to identify all reports affected by this change and restore appropriate edit access for users.

Could you please provide guidance on:

Root Cause Analysis: What are the most likely causes for this loss of edit functionality after a Platform Analytics migration and Zurich upgrade?
Identification of Affected Reports: How can we efficiently identify all reports where users have lost edit access?
Mass Resolution: What is the recommended approach to resolve these access-related issues for multiple reports at once?
Any insights or recommended solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The Zurich upgrade automatically triggers the enablement of Platform Analytics in lieu of the reporting functionality people are familiar with. Since you mentioned an upgrade, an admin should see a "Migration Center" under Platform Analytics which would be used to facilitate migrating the old dashboards and reports to the new dashboards and visualizations.

Hi, thank you for the response. The reports are available in Visualizations and Dashboard's are migrated to platform analytics. Issue is with the edit access functionality which is not showing for users who had access earlier.
