Hi @srajesh1,
A MID Server that stays on "Validating" usually means the instance sent the validation request but the MID Server hasn't picked it up or answered yet. A few things to check:
- Is the MID Server up? Open MID Server > Servers and look at the record's Status and Validated fields. If Status is Down, the MID service on the host isn't running or can't reach the instance, and validation will never finish.
- Look at the ECC Queue. Filter the ECC Queue (ecc_queue) for output records sent to your MID Server around the time you clicked Validate:
- State = ready for a long time: the MID Server isn't collecting work, which is a connectivity or service problem on the MID side.
- State = processed with a matching input record: the MID Server is talking to the instance. Check the input record for an error.
- Give it a few minutes and refresh the form. Validation isn't instant, and the form doesn't always update by itself.
- This is a lab-provided environment. If the MID host is part of the course lab and the MID Server shows as Down, you usually can't fix the host yourself. Raising a case with Now Learning support, with your course name, lab number and a screenshot of the MID Server record, is the quickest route.
If you can share a screenshot of the MID Server record (the Status and Validated fields) and the related ECC Queue entries, it will be easier to pinpoint.
