I am at the start of my ServiceNow training journey and am on the Implementer Path. I have two paid models to complete before taking the CSA exam:
Knowledge Management (KM) Implementation; and
ITSM Fundamentals
Both are tagged with "Equivalency". What does this mean? I hope it means that if I can demonstrate a related certification ie. ITIL, I don't have to spend money to take the course. However, I have searched forums for the term and can't find anything that explains what is meant by "Equivalency" in this context.
Does anyone have anyone here clarify please?
Regards,
Chris

Hi @FunkyNerd
Equivalencies are content pages on Now Learning that present the learner with two or more options for completing a course or other piece of content. They are designed to allow a learner to advance along a learning path regardless of which content version within the equivalency they have completed.

Hi Chris,
Atul has answered your question, but I thought I would chip in with an observation I hope you find helpful.
My advice would be to focus on getting your CSA certification first rather than completing the Associate Implementer career journey path, particularly if cost is a consideration.
Personally, I think the career journey paths are a great initiative but the reality is employers care much more about mainline certs, like the CSA, than they do about a career journey badge.
Yes, you need the KM Implementation and ITSM Fundamentals courses to get the badge, but they're not required to pass the CSA. All the knowledge you need to sit the CSA exam is in the ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals course, which it sounds like you've already completed.
I would suggest focusing on passing the CSA first, and then going back to complete the other requirements for the Associate Implementer badge later, as time and finances permit.
Bset of luck,
Simon
