Hello Everyone,
I recently completed my CSA certification, but I'm unsure about which certification to pursue next. Currently, I’m working as a portal developer, and I’d like to enhance my knowledge in both portal development and ITSM.
I’d appreciate your guidance on what to focus on next.
Thank you!

Hello @sundaram080713
Congratulations on earning your CSA certification! Since you’re working as a Service Portal Developer and interested in ITSM, here’s what I suggest:
- Certified Application Developer (CAD): Ideal for enhancing your development skills, especially in scripting and building custom solutions.
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ITSM: Perfect for deepening your ITSM knowledge and implementation expertise.
- For portal development, focus on mastering widget development, AngularJS, and ServiceNow APIs.
If development is your priority, go for CAD next. If you want a mix of development and process expertise, CIS – ITSM is a great choice.
To know more, refer to my post servicenow certification . Good luck!
