Hello folks!
We got recently ugraded to Australia.
However, everything looks weird and some functions are lost.
For instance, the UI page report_home that was available at the module "View/Run Report" is now redirecting us to the Platform Analytics workspace "Data Visualization".
The problem is that ITIL regular license is nor granting full access to this new "environment" and the classic view is lost because these UI pages don't exist anymore.

Hi @HansellF
"Yes, this is expected behavior. This change was introduced by ServiceNow in the latest release. If you click on the dashboard visualization, the page opens and users can access the report from there.
Also, Legacy Reporting has now been merged into Platform Analytics, and Legacy Reporting has been deprecated. The new recommended approach is to use Platform Analytics for all reporting needs."
Read this blog:
Overview: There has been some confusion about the status of customer instances following the upgrade to the Australia release. Specifically, there are concerns that customers might lose access to their dashboards and reports from the legacy reporting system. This system is also known by other names such as Core UI reporting, Responsive Canvas dashboards, or simply the legacy dashboards.
Based on customer feedback requesting additional transition time, we have extended this timeline — new legacy content creation will remain available through the end of 2027, regardless of release family. While you may continue to create legacy content, it is unsupported starting with Australia.
Key Points:
- No Mandatory Migration: There is no mandatory migration required at any time. However, support for legacy Performance Analytics (PA) content will end with the Australia upgrade.
- UPDATE on New Content Creation: As of March 2026, legacy customers WILL be able to create new content using Core UI tools through the end of 2027.
- Legacy dashboards and reports will remain available for use indefinitely. To clarify, as of March 2026:
- USAGE of core UI content remains available indefinitely
- NEW Core UI content creation ends at the end of 2027
- Removed requirement for "All or nothing" migration.
- There is no impact for customers who onboarded with ServiceNow on the Xanadu or later family release. Platform Analytics experience is the default reporting and analytics environment for net new instances as of Xanadu.

Hi @HansellF
Its a known issue as per https://www.servicenow.com/docs/r/release-notes/australia-all-other-fixes.html
| Analytics Data API | PRB1967291 | After an upgrade, Platform Analytics reports and dashboards aren't able to viewed by users |
| Analytics Data API | PRB1967291 | After an upgrade, Platform Analytics reports and dashboards aren't able to viewed by users |
Refer: KB1578131 Platform Analytics Migration Center guidelines and troubleshooting
Probable fix: Migrate your Core UI dashboards, reports, and analytics assets to Platform Analytics using the Migration Center. steps are given in KB.
The transition to the ServiceNow Australia release marks a major shift where Core UI reports and dashboards are deprecated in favor of the Platform Analytics .
This upgrade restructures navigation, frequently causing ITIL users to lose access to legacy views and report creation capabilities.
Australia release heavily restricts the creation and editing of classic UI reports and dashboards for standard users. Refer:
