Howdy Community,
I have a best practices question related to installing updates.
We are currently in the Washington DC release of ServiceNow.
We chose to skip the Xanadu release; we will be moving to Yokohama shortly.
When I get emails from ServiceNow for
“New versions for the applications are available for installation on Store.”
I see entries like:
Application | Company | Published on |
| Releases |
Service-now.com | Jan 02, 2025 |
| Xanadu |
What is the best practice here?
- Apply the update using Application Manager to allow for new features to already installed application, even though we chose to skip full Xanadu release.
- Wait until Yokohama release is applied.
Apply updates using Application Manger.
Thanks for your time,
Lon

If the update is for Xanadu only I don't think it will let you install it in Washington DC. It may let you install it once you are on Yokohama its been awhile since I have skipped a release.

I am able to install on lower instances, and the app show up in the Available tab of Application Manager.
In PRD, if I search Installed tab in Application Manager for Xanadu, I get 39 Store Applications.

If I go to the store and look at that version I get the following message.
