Converting Reports to Platform Analytics

I am looking for a specific path to convert Core UI Reports to Visualizations. It appears that I have to bulk convert all the dashboards to platform analytics (creating the visualizations). If I do that, can I keep Core UI dashboards/reports active? I would like to create new platform analytics dashboards and pull in the visualizations that I created in the bulk conversion. Then, down the road, we activate Platform Analytics. Is this doable in the current environment?

No, there isn't an option to migrate reports. You can only migrate dashboards to Platform Analytics and the reports on the dashboards will be migrated to data visualizations. 
You could put all the reports you want to migrate on a dashboard and migrate just that one dashboard. 

Be aware that there will be no mandatory migration anymore. With the Australia release (Q1'26) no more new 'old' dashboards and reports can be created, but the ones that you have will remain useable in read only mode.

You can migrate individual reports if you are in Zurich (not backwards-compatible with Yokohama). Works the same way you'd migrate individual dashboards - by navigating to the sys_report table and migrating individual reports using the list UI action:
