I want to clone all the data and settings from the source environment to the target environment.
Does system cloning back up all data from the source environment to the target environment, and does it require any special settings?
Thanks in advance

Hi @ma kaiyue
Conventionally it copies all the details from source to target.
But there are ways through which you can retain data in your target instance, or prevent copying from source to target and several other specs are there.
Navigate through below article for better understanding.

HI @ma kaiyue ,
I trust you are doing great.
Yes, System Cloning in ServiceNow allows you to clone all data and settings from a source environment to a target environment. It's a powerful tool for creating duplicates of entire ServiceNow instances for various purposes like testing, development, or disaster recovery.
