So we just ran a health scan on our dev instance after a clone to see how we fair, and we have a bunch of recommendations, is there an easy way to identify which item triggered each suggestion? it seems like we have to hunt and peck at this list, if they are able to identify the occurrences, why not provide a list or at least a sys_id of the item that triggered the alert. What do you do to find these items after your scan?

SNOW and ServiceNow are not the same, not even close!
Though if it's ServiceNow you are talking about: you do mean HealthScan and not Instance Scan?
HealthScan is performed by ServiceNow. Up to a certain level (or depending on your contract) its free. Do you want details, like an excel sheet, with every finding, with sys_ids, etc.: $$$.
A lot of findings you can also dig up yourself with common sense, though is a lot more work. Or for the future, consider start using Instance Scan. With Instance Scan you can create your own checks and then you have full control.

I cant share any screenshots as i dont want to post anything that can suggest any vulnerability, however its a standard HealthScan performed by SNOW, and it gives a list of areas to improve system health...

Would it be acceptable to only share the title of one of the check performed? We could perhaps think with you how you could find those findings then yourself.
