How to Recover of scoped application version after clone/upgrade

I have published the application in dev instance and and also installed with some version, but due to clone/upgrade the version is overridden. Is there any way to recover the overridden version in dev environment?

There’s no way to receive it now. By ‘clone’ I mean copying and pasting and completely overriding everything in lower instance. @vipulmange

@vipulmange

yes this is possible

-> If you previously published your app version to the ServiceNow App Repository (or stored it in Source Control), delete the application from dev instance and reinstall the latest version.

-> After reinstall, convert the app to development mode to make it editable again

this KB mentions the same

Retrieve latest version of custom app post clone if published to app repo prior to clone
