Hi @anjanavalsa ,

  • Please note that support is not available for PDIs, as they are intended solely for personal development, learning, and practice purposes.

  • If the issue isn’t urgent, you may want to wait and see if it resolves on its own.

  • Alternatively, you can choose to release your current instance and request a new one. However, please be aware that this will result in the loss of all existing data.

  • To prevent data loss in the future, it's recommended to regularly back up your PDI—either by using source control or by exporting Update Sets.

Please mark my answer as helpful/correct if it resolves your query.

Hello @anjanavalsa ,

Servicenow will not help with PDI. But you can sign in to the https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do and then it will automatically wake up.

If you already did that, then just wait for 1 - 2 hours, it will restore it.

If my response was helpful, please mark it as correct and helpful.
Thank you.

Hi @anjanavalsa

Here are some points to consider:

  1. There is no support available for PDI.
  2. If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.
  3. You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.

There have been 3-4 posts in the community today about PDI failures or unavailability. Based on the responses, you might need to wait 1-2 days and hopefully, the PDI will be back online.

Hi @anjanavalsa

As you might know, there is no support available from ServiceNow in relation to PDIs, hence you're limited to two options:

  1. Wait, it should automatically come online again after some time
  2. If you get tired of waiting, release you instance and request a fresh installation. Notice, all development work that hasn't been backed up will be lost for good.

If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.

Best regards
Anders
