ITSM Granular Admin roles in Australia upgrade

Hi All,

 

I read from Australia release notes that we have itsm granular roles like sn_incident_admin, sn_change_admin etc getting introduced. Can I please know that if these roles get applied and affect our existing functionality when we complete our instance upgrade to Australia or How do they work? How can we use them more effectively ?
