Hello,
I would like to know if there is a best practice following the update of an instance. For example, I am moving from update 8 to update 9 for the Vancouver version. I have noticed that several components have not been updated in terms of patterns. It seems that the update does not happen automatically because we might have modified the pattern, but we would like to overwrite our changes and reuse the original version updated by ServiceNOW.
Could you please help me? 🙂

I also believe that this problem or lack of knowledge has existed for several updates. I would like to correct this.
Thank you!

Hi there,
Are they perhaps listed as skipped updates? Do you handle the skipped updates after releases/patches/hot fixes? There you could revert to baseline. There are more options to do so, though skipped updates is the most obvious one in my opinion.
Kind regards,

Yes, we did a revert to version on those that were skipped.
