"employee experience foundation" updates

I'm looking to update the Employee Experience Foundation (sn_ex_emp_fd) plugin/store app from our installed version 27.0.1 to the latest (29.0.1). I see vague mentions of 'Key Features' but not enough detail to clue me in to where I can actually see these new features so that I can communicate them internally or even understand them myself. 


Can someone point to where in the platform I can actually demonstrate these new capabilities?

Specifically, in v28.1.4, the following things are mentioned in the release notes: 

  • "Enhanced functionality to enable admins to personalize email templates and layouts, while maintaining company branding facilitating the sending of knowledge articles and scheduled information to oneself for future viewing" 
    • Q: What does 'enhanced functionality' mean? In other words, enhanced how?
    • Q: Also, where do I see this specific new capability: 'sending of knowledge articles and scheduled information to oneself for future viewing'?
  • "Enabled 'week view' as the default view for schedule information"
    • Q: Where can I actually see or demonstrate this?

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I've looked in a PDI I have that's already up to date with the latest version (29.0.1) but haven't found where these new capabilities might appear.
