ServiceNow Store - HashiCorp Vault Credential Resolver Plug-in (Australia Release)

I hope you are doing well !

Last week, we upgraded our ServiceNow Test Instance from the Zurich to Australia release. Post upgrade, we observed that the “HashiCorp Vault Credential” plug-in is no longer available in the Australia release.

While reviewing the related support article (Link), we found this support contact and would like to check with your regarding the availability and support status of this plug-in for the Australia release.

Could you please help clarifying:

• Whether the HashiCorp Vault Credential plugin is currently supported/available in the Australia release?
• If not currently available, is there any planned timeline or roadmap for when this plugin is expected to be supported in ServiceNow Australia release?

This information will help us assess the impact on our ongoing integrations and plan the next steps accordingly.

ServiceNow has not permanently removed HashiCorp Vault. The original HashiCorp Vault Credential plug-in has been migrated from a traditional plugin to a supported integration application on the ServiceNow Stored App: HashiCorp Vault Credential Resolver

Key features

ServiceNow® MID servers can use the Vault Credential Resolver to consume secrets directly from Vault for the purpose of performing discovery. 

The following features are supported by the Vault Credential Resolver:

• KV (v1 & v2), Active Directory and AWS secret engines.
• Communication with Vault via Vault Agent.
• TLS communication with Vault Agent.
