I am unable to upgrade PDI to Australia from Zurich . its keeps stuck in the upgrading the instance for a quit a while . I tried to release Zurich PDI and request only Australia patch 2 . it same . pls help me on this .

Upgrade takes time, 4-8 hrs in many cases. you cna login into Pdi and see the upgrade status

Wait for completion of the activity for 4-5 hours.
If your your Servicenow Developer PDI has been stuck in a "launching," "waking up" or not getting online state for more than 24 hours, then
I will advice you to release the instance and request a new one .
As you know there is no support available for PDI.
