universal request added in Australia upgrade.

In the Australia upgrade, a new module called “Universal Request” has been added. The requirement is to make this module (along with its submodules) visible only to users with the sn_hr_core.admin role (i.e., HR Admins).

I attempted to restrict access by creating a read ACL and assigning the role, but it did not work.
Can someone suggest the correct approach to achieve this?

Hi @Tanushree Maiti

After following the above steps still the admin is able to see to "universal request". I wanted to hide this for "admin" role. and only visible for HR admin. Could you please help me in this.

Thanks.

Hi @GIR12

Admin is backend team who are supporting the application. Do you really want to hide it from admin..

If still you want ,  remove the Universal Request (UR) administrator [sn_uni_req.ur_admin] role from IT System Administrator role (admin) to help prevent IT System Administrators from viewing sensitive information via forms, lists and UI.

Hi @GIR12

The OOTB ServiceNow UR is used by ITSM as well. Since non-admin users can access it, you will need to make the required changes at the UI Action level to ensure it creates an HR Case from the UR form.
