Hello everyone,
I have 132 plugins available for updates. Do you know how I can do this? Should we need to update one by one or is there any way to do this simultaneously?
Your help is greatly appreciated. Please share your insights.
Thanks,
Kishor Otepadpu

Hi @Kishor O
You can refer this link
https://www.servicenow.com/community/api-insights-forum/batch-update-plugins/m-p/2995250/page/2
or practically what i did manually, ( as old school guy)
open the plugins 1-1 by in separate windows max 1o plugins each time.
You can take first 5 from 1st page and next 5 from last page of plugins
then click on update and while doing this, just see if there any dependency you found ( i found very few )
- so pick those plugins and update , bcz if you update the kind of parent plugin child get updated automatically.
This whole exercise take 2-3 hrs and then the queue build up and system update teh plugins one by one.
In mean time keep checking the plugin status as well.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Hello @Kishor O ,
I completely understand the effort involved in updating a large number of plugins manually, as I’ve experienced the same challenge in the past. However, I recently came across some discussions where experts shared potential solutions for automating or simplifying this process. While I haven’t personally tested these methods, they seem promising and worth exploring.
Here are a few links to those discussions and resources:
- Creating a batch installer for Store updates
- Batch Update - Plugins
- Finding newer Store Application versions with Instance Scan and Flow Designer
- Plugins update with Script
Please take a look and let me know how they work out for you.
Please Mark ✅Correct if this solves your query and also mark 👍Helpful if you find my response worthy based on the impact.
Regards,
Aniket
