Able to see the knowledge article on IT Knowledge Base but not on Knowledge Homepage

Hi All,

 

For few articles, we have given some users the Can Read role associated with the article. So they are able to see the articles on IT Knowledge Base but not on Knowledge Homepage. Please suggest.

Can you expand a little by what you mean when you state: "they are able to see the articles on IT Knowledge Base but not on Knowledge Homepage."

 

Where are you expecting the articles to be displayed on the Knowledge Homepage? Typically, individual articles are displayed under certain sections and conditions such as 'Most viewed' or 'Featured'.

 

Can the users search for the articles from the Knowledge Homepage Search? Is the IT Knowledge Base (Which they're stored under) visible on the Knowledge Homepage?

I'm a little lost.

 

As an advisory and as you've experimented, articles visibility and access is controlled by the Knowledge Base theyre contained in.

 

Please let me know what or where you'd like the articles to display, and I'm sure we can find a solution.
