Hi,
I'm after a way to make the queue screen from the Walk-up Experience accessible to users outside of the walkup_login role. OOTB only users with this role (and no other role) can navigate to the queue page because it's part of the walk-up portal but, we want any user to be able to see the queue from their desk (which could be on a different floor from the Walk-up centre) so that they can decide if it's worthwhile their going to join the queue or, if they should wait (i.e. without having to physically visit the Walk-up centre to see).
Additionally, I'd like to be able to do this without cloning any widgets if possible....Any ideas?

I have a workaround for this. On the location you check the box to enable online check-in. That will show a link under Self Service in the interface that say an itil user will have. I then took the link <instance>sp?id=walkup_online_checkin&location_id=8827da641ba8d2906df06572604bcb3f and added to a menu item in the service portal. So it's not the same look as the fancy kiosk queue widget but it gets the job done. We had to use this article to fix the text colors as text was basically unreadable with the light gray coloring. https://www.servicenow.com/community/itsm-forum/changing-font-colours-on-the-walk-up-experience-port... Just post the exact CSS in this article and it's perfect.
With these changes an itil user and a portal user can get to the queue. You could always hide the self service menu if you don't want users to go that route and force them to use a kiosk.
