Automatic Update set transfer

Hello community, I'm looking for a way that, once someone has created or modified a catalog item through the catalog builder, the update set created and completed can be automatically moved from one instance to another. I found this documentation page "Update set transfers", but see no further explanation on how to implement the SOAP solution, only the IP Access Control, but in this case i want to move only specific update sets, not all that are complete.

Hi @b__LeonardoC

Update Sources allow you to transfer completed update sets from one instance to another. In the remote/target instance, you need to configure the URL of the instance from where you are retrieving the completed update sets and basic authentication credentials. Using this feature, all the completed update sets will be retrieved to the target instance, I don't think we can retrieve only specific update sets using Update sources.

when you retrieve update sets via update sources it always fetches completed update set from lower instance.

you cannot bring in specific update set.

Let all the completed update set come, you can preview and commit only the ones you wish to commit

If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.
