Catalog Item Variable Instructions - Dynamically Update

Hello.  In a Catalog Item, I want to have an item that has a link in the instructions section that updates dynamically based on what is selected in a previous item.

For example, in the attached screenshot the user selected "ServiceNow, Inc" for the vendor name.  This is pulling from a custom table we created which includes a Vendor ID for each vendor.

So once "ServiceNow, Inc" was selected as the vendor, we would need the system to go out to the custom vendor table and find that the Vendor ID for "ServiceNow, Inc" is "SVCNOW" (see attached) and then the link in the Instructions for Invoice Number would be "https://...SearchValue=SVCNOW"

Is this possible?
